Madelaine “Laine” Hicks (she/her), is a labor and employment attorney with Antonelli Kantor Rivera. An advocate with a background in social justice, Laine previously interned with the ACLU-NJ and later created and supervised a pro bono legal department for a New Jersey law firm. She is passionate about movement lawyering, and believes in creating power and privilege for all. Laine earned her Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School in Newark, NJ. She received her bachelor's degree in Political Science with minors in African-American Studies & Sociology from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. She lives in Jersey City with her husband.
