Jordan Lewis

Class of 2025

Jordan Lewis serves as the Community Service Director of New Jersey Young Democrats and Outreach Chair of the Mercer County Young Democrats. Professionally, he is the District Director at the Office of Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman, where he is proud to serve the 12th Congressional District of New Jersey. In his current role, he works to support constituent-based service operations, district-wide collaborative programming, and legislative initiatives. Jordan began his career in government as a Constituent Service Representative and the Internship Coordinator at the Office of Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman.

In 2014, Jordan graduated from Johnson C. Smith University with a bachelor's degree in Criminology and a minor in Pre-law. From 2015 to 2018, he served as the Behavior Modification Technician at Charlotte Mecklenburg School System for at-risk K-12 students. He attended Rutgers University in Newark, NJ, and graduated with a Master of Public Affairs and Administration in 2022. Jordan is the third in his family to receive a Bachelor’s Degree and the first to receive a Master’s Degree.

In 2020, Jordan was recognized as a 2020 Alumni of the Congressional Black Caucus Institute (CBCI) in Washington, D.C. Since 2019, he has served as the District Agent for the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation (CBCF), where he oversees the internship, scholarship, and fellowship programs. He is proud to serve in this capacity because he has seen firsthand the impact it has made in young professionals’ lives.

Jordan is a proud brother of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated. From 2018 to 2022, he served as the Political Action Chair and the Social Action Chair of the Zeta Iota Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated in Mercer County. In addition, he was selected as a 2025 New Jersey Leadership Collective (NJLC) fellow, where he looks forward to gaining additional tools and resources for community advocacy and growing as a leader in the State of New Jersey.

Jordan lives in Ewing Township, NJ where he enjoys public service, volunteering at veteran programs, and assisting political campaigns
