Jocelyn Rojas is a dedicated public servant and strategist, currently serving as Chief of Staff to Assemblyman Gabriel Rodriguez of New Jersey’s 33rd Legislative District. In this role, she oversees legislative priorities, constituent services, and community engagement, helping to advance policies that reflect the needs and aspirations of working families across the state.
Amid a dynamic career, she has built a strong track record in policy, advocacy, and government operations through high-impact roles. She previously served as an Outreach Advisor on women’s issues, healthcare, and environment to the most senior Latino Senator in the country. Her commitment to equity and justice later led her to serve as Director of Policy for the 33rd district, where she helped shape legislative agendas on education, housing, and public health.
As a first-generation Ecuadorian American raised in an immigrant community, Jocelyn’s work is deeply informed by her lived experiences. She understands firsthand the challenges of navigating systems that often overlook marginalized voices. Her career is driven by the belief that when people grow together, they rise together, a principle that continues to guide her leadership and advocacy.
Focused on expanding access to quality education, mental health services, workers’ rights, and equitable healthcare, Jocelyn is passionate about creating meaningful change and empowering the communities she serves.
