Hana Katz

Hana Katz is a Camden County–based professional driving innovative, community-focused solutions to pressing challenges such as climate resilience, public infrastructure funding, flooding, extreme weather response, and environmental justice. She combines strategic leadership, technical expertise, and communications to organize and to implement measurable solutions.

She holds a B.S. in Environmental Science with a minor in Pre-Law from New Jersey City University, where she led campus environmental initiatives, captained the Model UN team, represented young women at the UN Climate Week Women in Business Conference, and managed operations for the UN Fashion4Development Gala.

Hana has applied her expertise across government and community programs, including the National Park Service at the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, where she used data analytics to map and preserve historical and cultural resources. Under the City of Jersey City, she advanced their Sustainable Business Program, taught over 600 students about environmental science, and oversaw the city’s composting program.

Currently, Hana leads state campaigns for climate resilience funding and policy, driving legislative advocacy, coalition-building, and strategic communications of non-profit organizations. She founded and directed youth-focused environmental organizations, and served in public roles supporting government offices, emergency services, and local elections.
