Aaron Haier

Class of 2025

Aaron Haier is an experienced attorney and advocate who was born and raised in Jersey City. He began his legal career as an associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, where he specialized in commercial litigation and maintained an active pro bono practice with a focus on housing law, gun violence prevention, and voting rights. Aaron currently works for the State of New Jersey in the Office of the Attorney General. Prior to practicing law, Aaron worked for the City of Newark, where he oversaw the Newark Healthy Homes Program.

Aaron earned his B.A., M.A., and J.D. from New York University. At NYU Law, he was a Moelis Fellow for Urban Law and Public Affairs and served on the executive board of the Review of Law and Social Change.
